Nine Winners of 2023 Wenger’s Feed Mill Scholarship Announced

RHEEMS, PA (June 20, 2023) – The Wenger’s Feed Mill Scholarship Foundation is pleased to announce the 2023 winners of the annual scholarship.

The 2023 recipients are: Erin Bohmueller of Harleysville; Cody Boyer of York; Mason Boyer of York; Mattea Cave of Dornsife; Jacob Cramer of Lititz; Alanna Falk of York; Nicole Leniger of Quakertown; Elijah Madara of Catawissa; and Emma Madara of Catawissa.

Erin Bohmueller will be a freshman at Penn State University studying Kinesiology. She graduated from Souderton Area High School in June. Cody Boyer of York will be entering his senior year at Elizabethtown College studying accounting. Mason Boyer of York graduated from Central York High School and will be a freshman at Stevenson University studying Business Administration. Mattea Cave will be entering her sophomore year at California University of Pennsylvania in the fall seeking a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Jacob Cramer of Lititz graduated from Manheim Township High School and will enter Penn State University to study engineering. Alanna “Ally” Falk will be a junior at Temple University this fall studying political science. Nicole Leniger of Quakertown will be entering her sophomore year at Bloomsburg University studying medical imagery. Elijah Madara of Catawissa graduated from Southern Columbia High School and will enter Pennsylvania College of Technology in the fall studying auto mechanics. Emma Madara of Catawissa graduated from Southern Columbia High School and will be studying Animal Science at Penn State University in the fall.

“We have received applications from students pursuing a wide variety of degrees from healthcare to accounting to auto mechanics and animal science. We awarded scholarships to nine students this year including two repeat recipients,” noted Lynda Limpert, Chair of the Board of Directors of the Wenger’s Feed Mill Scholarship Foundation. The Foundation awarded $10,000 in scholarships this year.

Individual awards are determined by the Board of Directors of the Wenger’s Feed Mill Scholarship Foundation. Awards are available for use at accredited colleges or universities, community colleges, as well as trade and technical schools.

Launched in 2015, The Foundation awards academic scholarships exclusively to eligible full-time team members of The Wenger Group companies. “Our team members are our greatest asset, and we appreciate their dedication to The Wenger Group and are delighted to aid their children in attaining their future goals,” noted Barry Shaw, Executive Chairman of the Board of The Wenger Group.
