Jonestown, PA – March 28, 2023: Jonestown Bank & Trust Co. (JBT) recently announced that Ashley Hess has been promoted to Vice President.
Hess is a Jonestown, PA resident and serves as JBT’s Vice President, Cannabis Banking Manager. In this role, Hess manages a team of four that is actively involved in growing the number of Cannabis Related Business clients served by JBT, considered PA’s Premier Cannabis Banking Partner. In addition, Hess is the point person for lending related to the bank’s cannabis clients.
Prior to her current role, Hess was Assistant Vice President, Cannabis Banking Manager and she previously served as the BSA High Risk Analyst with JBT after previously working at JBT’s Lebanon branch as Assistant Manager.
A graduate of Eastern Lebanon County High School, Hess attended Messiah College and is a graduate of PBA’s School of Banking. With 13 years of banking experience, Hess earned the Certified Cannabis Banking Professional designation and is a graduate of Leadership Lebanon Valley.
Hess is the Treasurer and serves as a Board Member for Pillows of Love, a non-profit organization in Palmyra, PA that benefits women in need.
