This past month, the Chamber has added a new team member to the organization. We would like to introduce you to Kate Lowry!

Kate Lowry | Business Relations Manager

Kate serves as the Chamber’s Business Relations Manager, building relationships with businesses leaders across Lancaster County, supporting member engagement and retention, and connecting businesses with valuable resources and opportunities. Before joining the Chamber staff, she served as a Chamber Ambassador, helping foster strong member relationships and engagement throughout the Chamber community.

What inspires you? 

• Inspiration comes from lots of places for me – art, people, architecture, words, work, running – as an art major, I try hard to lean into what I’m seeing and feeling and giving myself the white space to think and be with my own thoughts. This is often done when running or walking, digging in the dirt, and sometimes reading.

What makes you laugh?

• My family and my friends, and definitely our dog who is a perpetual puppy that loves tennis balls

Any hidden talents?

• I am a U.S. Coast Guard certified sailor up to 50′ – I grew up on the Chesapeake Bay on the weekends. And I took up ice skating at age 40 and love the sport – I haven’t broken anything yet, although I’m not very good either
