Katharine DeSantis, Public Policy Coordinator.
Meet Katharine DeSantis our Public Policy Coordinator. Katharine graduated from Washington College this past May with degrees in Political Science and Philosophy.
As a Public Policy Coordinator, Katharine will manage the Lancaster Chamber’s Pro-Business Agenda and serves as a liaison between the business community and elected officials at the local, state, and federal levels.

Where did you work previously before your role here at the Chamber?
- Since graduating, I became a volunteer with Girls On The Run and the Lancaster YWCA.
What do you love most about Lancaster County?
- I love how diverse the community is and how each unique region contributes to the strong character of the whole county.

Lydia Charles, Data Management Intern
Meet Lydia Charles, our Spring 2023 Data Management Intern. Lydia attends Buffalo State University and is pursuing a Masters in Professional Applied Computational Mathematics along with a Professional Graduate Certificate in Data Science.
As a Data Management Intern, Lydia will be responsible for administering and tracking the 2023 Wage and Benefits Survey.

Where did you work previously before your role here at the Chamber?
- Prior to working as an intern at Lancaster Chamber, I was an IT student assistant at Buffalo State University.
What do you love most about Lancaster County?
- Though I’ve only spent about 2 days in Lancaster County, the one thing that captured my attention the most is the architecture of the buildings.
