Lancaster Chamber Ambassador of the Quarter: Jamie Ressler-Eckman
Chamber Updates

Please join us in congratulating our Ambassador of the quarter, Jamie Ressler-Eckman!

Lancaster Chamber Ambassadors are a vital extension of the Lancaster Chamber, playing an essential role in member engagement and connection. These dedicated volunteers represent the Chamber by partnering with member businesses and organizations, fostering strong relationships, and offering ongoing support. We are deeply grateful for their commitment and the enthusiasm they bring to our community.

New to 2025, Ambassadors have the opportunity to compete for “Ambassador of the Quarter” based on the amount of volunteer activities completed. In Quarter 1, Jamie went above and beyond to lead the group, including attendance at numerous Chamber events and ribbon cuttings, and promoting the mission of the Chamber in the community and to her network digitally.

Learn more about Jamie with our Q&A below.

Why do you serve as an Ambassador?

  • I serve as an Ambassador for the Lancaster Chamber as I feel it is such an honor to showcase and represent our local community and support our local business owners. I engage with prospective clients who desire to plan, develop, grow and stay here in Lancaster County on a daily basis and establish relationships and making those connections is what it is all about. Making that lasting impression and impact and giving back can lead to so many opportunities for all! It is a great program that offers endless opportunities and connections.

What is the important thing about being an Ambassador?

  • The most import thing to me is that you are highly respected, have a support system and are recognized for your achievements!

How else are you are involved in the community?

  • Throughout the school year I am involved with mock crashes and assist with speaking to our area High Schools about distracted driving. I work alongside our areas DA, EMS and PD Offices. You can also find me on charitable motorcycle rides on our Harley with my husband, Jonathan.

What do you love about Lancaster County?

  • I am a native of Lancaster County and a 1996 Graduate of Lampeter Strasburg High School. I love that we are still so blessed to have such beautiful landscape of farmland available, fresh fruits and vegetables to buy, Amish friends and neighbors, all the ice cream shops, unique dining experiences, art galleries, stadiums, and all things to do…., and can still enjoy the ordinaries of life despite some heavy traffic when its tourism season and still have a small town feel in some areas despite how fast we are growing! I love the community feel and how people just know people.

When I am not at work, I am…

  • Believe it or not I am pretty simple. You can find me attending or playing soccer or baseball with my 13-year-old son Parker. Drinking Starbucks, plating flowers, floating in our pool, cleaning, going on motorcycle rides on our Harley with my husband, Jonathan, visiting my son Caden who attends Penn Tech College for nursing and who just retired from the Army, and visiting with family and friends.

Why are you a Member of the Chamber?

  • It’s important to me to be a member of the Chamber as the Lancaster Chamber is one of the biggest Chambers with over 1500+ members, and I have found that it has been such a valuable resource to me over the years. It has given me such valuable information and insight as to what is happening right here in our community that we might not get anywhere else. It’s all about the connections and community and partnerships!

We are so excited to recognize Jamie for all her hard work and dedication to the Lancaster Chamber! To learn more and see the full line up of our Ambassadors, visit our Meet the Ambassadors page!
