Weekly Town Hall: Vaccines & the Workplace

To capture the ever-evolving need for information on COVID-19 Vaccine distribution, the Chamber has partnered with Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health to provide three, town hall style webinars for businesses in Lancaster County.


Explain how the vaccine works – dispelling false information and instilling confidence in the science that created it. 
Review the process of distribution and provide ways to manage expectations for your employees.
Q&A Session with our presenter to answer your specific questions about the vaccine and how it affects your workplace.

Michael R. Ripchinski, MD, MBA, CPE, FAAFP
Chief Clinical Officer, Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health

Dr. Ripchinski is responsible for quality, safety and informatics/analytics across Lancaster General and Women & Babies hospitals, LG Health Physicians, ambulatory sites and the clinically integrated network. He provides administrative leadership for the Medical & Dental Staff and collaborates with operational and service line teams to prioritize quality and high reliability and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Dr. Ripchinski joined LG Health in 2003 and previously served as Chief Medical Information Officer and Physician Executive for Quality. He earned a bachelor’s degree from The University of Scranton and a Master of Business Administration from Saint Joseph’s University. A graduate of Penn State College of Medicine, he is a Fellow in the American Academy of Family Physicians and a Certified Physician Executive. Dr. Ripchinski is board-certified in family medicine and clinical informatics, and maintains a continuity practice at Walter L. Aument Family Health Center in Quarryville.

While presentation information will remain the same during each week, updates will be provided and different questions could be asked each week as we progress through this quickly changing environment.
