What is the Small Business Series?

We're glad you asked! The Lancaster Chamber is excited to launch our new Small Business Series! We will be hosting sessions throughout 2021 focused on equipping small businesses with the resources they need to succeed. While this is called the Small Business Series it's not just for small businesses. We encourage anyone to participate, no matter the size of your business.

Session 7 - Legal

The seventh session of our Small Business Series will dive into legal concerns. The goal of this presentation will be to educate you on the most common issues small businesses will face, and provide you with the guidance on how to overcome those issues. 

What will be covered?

  1. Corporate Governance and Best Practices;
  2. Employment Law Issues;
  3. Protection of Intellectual Property and Trade Secrets; and
  4. Commercial Contract Issues and Tips for Drafting Commercial Contracts.

 

Meet the Presenter

Kamron W. Abedi, Esq.

Saxton & Stump

Kamron focuses his practice in business and corporate law. In his practice, he assists clients with business formations, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, reorganizations and transitions for businesses ranging from startups to large family-owned businesses and middle-market companies. He prepares corporate and commercial agreements such as asset/stock purchase agreements, operating agreements, shareholders' agreements, escrow agreements, lease agreements, and distribution/supply agreements.
