What is the Small Business Series?
We're glad you asked! The Lancaster Chamber launched the new Small Business Series in 2021! We have hosted sessions focused on equipping small businesses with the resources they need to succeed. While this is called the Small Business Series it's not just for small businesses. We encourage anyone to participate, no matter the size of your business.
February Session - Critical Thinking
Most people have not consciously focused on developing critical thinking skills. This interactive one-hour workshop will introduce you to:
- What critical thinking is
- Why it matters
- The stages of critical thinking development
- How it applies to planning and problem-solving
- How it will benefit you
- How it will benefit your organization
The content helps leaders to delegate and helps everyone to anticipate needs and contribute solutions.
- Understand what critical thinking is and why it is a valuable skill to continue developing for the individual and their organization.
- How to proactively use critical thinking to solve problems and enhance effectiveness.
- Recognize the impact of confidently increasing critical thinking skills.
About the Presenter
Janet Treer, The Treer Group

She has also played key roles in community organization, such as: The Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Lancaster County, Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, Girl Scouts of the USA and more.
