Wage & Benefits Survey

Now more than ever, your business needs relevant, local data on wages and policies to identify trends and for benchmarking your business against your peers in the county. Your decisions in the next few months will determine the trajectory of your workforce planning into the future.

Help us create this data by participating in the Wage & Benefits survey and providing crucial information about your business. This local data will be a critical component to workforce development as we navigate the current crisis and beyond.

Participation is FREE! Information is only used in the aggregate, keeping submitted data anonymous. Significant savings are available to those who participate. DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED! Participate now until Fall! Healthcare Benefits Survey deadline is now September 18. Results will be available late 2020.


1. Complete the required Company Information section at the beginning of the survey.

2. Choose to participate in the full survey, or choose the sections of the survey you wish to participate in. Each section will provide information on what will be needed and what is being collected. Please email Paige Barr to receive a PDF version of the survey to review prior to participating.

3. You do not need to complete the survey all at once. You will be provided with an Edit Link to access your survey and data at any time, until the participation is closed on September 18.

4. Once you’ve completed the survey, you’re all set! The Chamber will be in contact with you for next steps and information on how to access results when available.

What is the Wage & Benefits Survey?

The Wage & Benefits Survey produce results that can help your business make decisions about practices and trends to recruit and retain a workforce.

The Wage Survey includes wage history charted in a graph format for easy reference, descriptions of each position, as well as a list of general wage and salary increases that include cost of living and merit increases. This year, information related to COVID-19 will also be available. Click here for a list of positions included in the Wage Survey.

The Benefits Survey quantifies local practices on wage administration, part-time workers, insurance, vacation and many other employment issues. Also included is a detailed section on Healthcare and an Executive Healthcare Summary. The Lancaster Chamber partners with Central Penn Business Group on Health to review and analyze the Healthcare Benefits Section and provide an Executive Summary of the results for the Benefits Survey.
