Ken Sensenig and Les Gustafson-Zook will be coming to Fairmount twice in November to present a program, Songs and Stories of the Church at Work Around the World, sharing their Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) experiences in story and song. Here you can learn about MCC ministries and sing along while Les plays homemade instruments such as the canjo and the spam fiddle. Ken joins with stories of the church at work through MCC.

The first presentation will be held Friday, November 10, at 6:30 p.m. in the Crest View Gathering Room, 1100 Farm Crest Dr. on the east side of the Fairmount campus. The second program will be held Monday, November 13, at 7:00 p.m. in the Wheat Ridge Chapel at 333 Wheat Ridge Dr. on the west side of the Fairmount Campus.

Gustafson-Zook is an entertaining and energetic multi-instrumentalist performer who works with MCC Great Lakes and uses home-made instruments to introduce the themes of MCC through song. Sensenig is a storyteller and the Assistant Director at MCC East Coast and has many years of experience with MCC to draw from for past and present stories of MCC work.

Both of the events are free and open to the public, so save the date(s), bring your friends, and prepare to be inspired!
