Alzheimer's/dementia Community Education Group

Providing resources and support will be the focus of a new Alzheimer’s Association-affiliated community education group. Meetings will be held the first Wednesday of the month. Individuals may drop in at any meeting, and no registration is needed.
Meetings will include an educational portion and an informal time to talk with others. The topic on August 1st will be Personal Care and Bathing, and on September 5th, discussion will center on the Role Reversal in the Care Giving Relationship. Sharing the News (About an Alzheimer’s Disease Diagnosis) will be explored at October 3rd’s session.
