Gaining an in-depth understanding of your customers and their environment is one of the most important factors in creating a product or service. This high-energy interactive workshop will help you to understand new and exciting tools of connecting with your customer using methods taken from anthropology and ethnography. Experiential learning and case studies will be used to teach the basic theories and techniques used in field and participant observation. You will learn to recognize the customer’s voice and put that voice into action in your approach to business.
Spend significant time practicing what you learn and applying it to building a project plan for your organization; tools and techniques to optimize field research and convert into real world application; experience interviews with real consumers in their homes and real customers at their businesses.
