Franklin & Marshall College invites qualified candidates to apply for the newly-created role of Director of Employer Partnerships. As part of the dynamic Office of Student and Post-Graduate Development, this full-time, year-round position will strategize innovative ways to partner with employers for the purpose of securing employment, internship, externship and other experiential learning opportunities for Franklin & Marshall students and alumni, while developing and delivering programs pertaining to employment trends, industry standards and hiring practices.

Other responsibilities of this relationship-driven role include:

Developing and implementing sustainable and effective recruiting systems for employment, internships and the experiential learning opportunities secured by the Director;
Collaborating with the Director of Alumni Advising and Development and the Director of Alumni and Parent Relations in forming enduring partnerships with Franklin & Marshall alumni- and parent-affiliated employers;
Facilitating and supporting recruiting events on- and off-campus;
Overseeing the content and maintenance of the database cataloging employment, internship, externship and experiential learning opportunities; and
Collaborating with the members of Franklin & Marshall’s student and post-graduate advising system in the development and execution of initiatives.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have the following:

Bachelor’s degree plus prior related experience working in the staffing, recruiting, human resources or related field, or in business-to-business sales;
Demonstrated ability to develop and sustain strategic partnerships with a broad range of constituencies;
Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate the value of a liberal arts education to potential employers of F&M students and alumni;
Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and presentation skills;
Excellent client development and relationship management skills;
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities;
Sound writing and time management skills;
Commitment to developing innovative approaches to delivering excellent service;
Proven ability to work in and lead a team;
Proficiency and experience using technology (i.e. Microsoft Office) and social media.
