Are you a presenter who wows the crowd or lulls them to sleep? If you’re still depending on PowerPoint to carry your presentations, you’re missing the opportunity to make a real connection with your audience – and that’s where the real power lies.

And if you’re not making a connection with your audience, you’re missing the opportunity to build relationships, enhance your personal image, and achieve your desired results.

If you want to make a positive impression when speaking to a group of any size, you must have a clear understanding of your goal: what do you want this audience to know, understand, or do when you’re finished? From there you must develop compelling content and visuals, establish a rapport with the audience, and use your voice to accentuate your story.

This program will address these issues and more while giving you an opportunity to hone your skills in a variety of venues in addition to the Chamber. Through a comprehensive evaluation process, you’ll receive feedback on your strengths and areas in need of improvement to take your skills to the next level.

Program Includes:

  • Pre-assessment to determine individual objectives
  • Individualized feedback after every session pertaining to the individual objectives
  • A final evaluation specifying individual achievements
  • A recording of each of your presentations
  • Opportunity to deliver a presentation in different venues of varying sizes

Program Content:

  • Developing individual objectives
  • Identifying and improving the qualities of your delivery mechanics
  • Engaging the audience
  • Constructing an effective presentation
  • Using visual aids
  • Mastering relaxation and focusing techniques

Dates: 4/11, 4/18, 4/25, 5/2, 5/9, 5/16
