Join us to hear from Dan Meuser, secretary of Pennsylvania Department of Revenue, on specific initiatives in the budget designed to improve Pennsylvania’s tax climate and reduce tax burdens. Specific initiatives include: eliminating the capital stock/foreign franchise tax, beginning to reduce the corporate net income tax, raising the cap on net operating loss deductions, allowing for like-kind exchanges and start-up business deductions and repealing the corporate loans tax. In addition, there are a number of proposals that would expand PA’s ability to market itself and support private sector job creation and business growth. There will be ample time for Q&A with the Secretary, as well, so come prepared with your questions.
