In the coming months, we are likely to see many changes in legislation as it relates to education, sustainable communities, transportation, healthcare and more. To learn how these issues and others may impact your business now and in the future, join the conversation at our Annual Legislative Issues Forum on Friday, October 12 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Lancaster County Convention Center with members of Lancaster County’s delegation.
The event will feature Senators Lloyd Smucker and Mike Folmer, and Representatives John Bear, Scott Boyd, Tom Creighton, Bryan Cutler, Gordon Denlinger and Mike Sturla. You’ll have the opportunity to speak with your legislator one-on-one about the issues that concern you at breakfast, during which legislators will be seated at attendees’ tables. Following breakfast, each legislator will speak on a different legislative topic relevant to the business community and our quality of life including education, pension reform, sustainable communities and more. Following the panel, the legislators will be available for a question and answer session.
New this year, to encourage you to invite your non-member friends, vendors and business partners to the 2012 Legislative Issues Forum we are offering a discount to both you and your guest. The non-member will receive the member price, a 50% savings, and you will receive a 50% discount off the member registration price.
