Let the party begin! The Chamber is celebrating our 11th Annual Membership Picnic and has added you and your employees' names to our guest list. The Picnic is an ideal way for The Chamber to bring together our members for a casual evening of networking, to build employee morale and to add fun and entertainment to your evening.
Recognized as our most popular summertime networking event, attracting 800+ business professionals in 2008, the Picnic will feature:
- A hearty barbecue dinner featuring a selection of barbecue sandwiches, vegetarian options, delicious salads and tempting desserts provided by Hess's Barbecue Catering;
- Sweet frozen treats provided by Maggie Moo's Ice Cream and Treatery
- Plenty of cold beer and non-alcoholic refreshments on tap;
- Casual networking and fun with more than 800 Chamber members;
- Summertime tunes being spun by a local disc jockey; and
- A Burger Cook-Off for Charity!*
If you haven't RSVP'd for the Membership Picnic yet, now is the time to do so to ensure you're part of the networking event of the summer. Remember to encourage your colleagues to do the same and wear your logo or company attire - the company with the most individuals wearing their company logo will be awarded a catered office lunch on The Chamber.
Pricing: $30 each (1 to 5 tickets); $28 each (6 to 9 tickets); and $26 each (10 or more tickets.)
*Gather two to four people from the office and compete in our Burger Cook-Off for Charity contest! Entrance fee per team is $50. The top four teams with the best burgers will be awarded trophies courtesy of Hess's Barbecue Catering. FASTSIGNS is sponsoring this fun contest and will judge the first round. Final round judges include representatives from The Happy Jalapeno Company and Local Taste Magazine.
