Determination is the Key to success. You need to have that drive to constantly learn and grow in your career. Even if the position that you want is not available, you want to work every day as if it was. That is how you build opportunity,  that's how you build a door.

  • WHAT MOTIVATES YOU?
A customer's satisfaction. When I start a project the customer is very overwhelmed and normally very confused. As I help with putting things together and a picture  starts to be formed the  customer becomes more  excited  and anxious for the completed  look. That moment when the customer finally sees their finished project and is excited to show me pictures and is just 100% thrilled with the renovation, that is my motivation. I helped create and be a part  of something beautiful.

His writing influences both my personal and professional life. If I had to pick my favorite book it would be
Tuesdays with Morrie because it is packed with such simple life lessons that we often overlook or forget to remember. I've read it three times.

Their confidence in our team and their positive energy keeps me motivated.

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMER
As a transplant to the area, YPN has helped me connect with many locals in the Lancaster area. It has opened up doors and opportunities for future growth for my company and for myself as a person and business professional.
  • WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO ACHIEVE IN YOUR FIELD OF WORK?
Accountants are often times seen as dull, unapproachable and over calculated people. I strive to change that stigma and show others that there are "non stereotypical accountants" out there. In our profession it is very important to be detail oriented, trustworthy, committed, analytical, organized, etc... But it is just as important to have soft skills that make you approachable by other people. If you can't hold a conversation or drink a beer with your accountant, then it may be time for a new accountant.
  • WHAT MOTIVATES YOU?
I would consider myself self-motivated, but driven by the need to succeed. I'm not going to get into the meaning of success, because everyone has a different meaning for it... But success is not given, it is earned. I have always been the type of person that once I tell myself to do something, I do it. I don't always succeed on the first attempt, or sometimes even the seventh, but if failure starts to creep into my mind, I have a way of "kicking it up a notch" to accomplish my goals and succeed. If people want something bad enough, they can and will achieve it.

This is a tough one for me to answer, because I am a marketer in an accountant’s world. • WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO ACHIEVE IN YOUR FIELD?
I hope to change the way people view Marketing and Public Relations. Many individuals refer to PR specialists as “spin doctors” and Marketing professionals as “salesmen”. I hope through new strategies and tactics, a paradigm shift occurs. I’m optimistic that one day, these professions will be perceived as being rooted in knowledge-sharing and thought-leadership.
  • WHEN DID YOU KNOW THIS IS WHAT YOU WANTED TO DO IN LIFE?
In high school, my career trajectory was Film and Broadcasting. When I was introduced to courses in Print Journalism and Public Relations at Millersville University, I switched my concentration. This was a fairly easy decision once I realized my strengths were in event planning and writing.
  • HOW ARE YOU MOTIVATED IN YOUR LIFE'S WORK?
For the first several years of my career, I worked for Godfrey, a Business-to-Business marketing agency. At that point, my motivation was simply the reward of a promising career! The job allowed opportunities for much creativity, innovation, and utilization of the most recent technology trends. I had been searching for the perfect opportunity to join a non-profit for some time, when I accepted the position at VisionCorps.                       Today, my motivation is rooted a bit deeper – I wake up every morning educating folks on ways to better support and empower their neighbors who are blind and vision impaired. I’m also thrilled to have the opportunity to crush the stigma surrounding individuals with disabilities (vision impairments among them). Some of my co-workers have limited vision, some travel with guide dogs; that doesn’t stop them from coming into the office and giving their all, each day. That’s my motivation.

I got into HR after college. I was involved in leading a group of online gamers for a few years.  At that time I realized that I had a knack for HR when I created a formal recruitment and evaluation process.  I came to love benefits after when I helped a disabled employee through a very difficult time.  After I saw that impact, I was hooked.

Latest Nugget of Knowledge: Spicy foods may prevent muscle cramping!
As a ‘has-been’ athlete and new coach, I still keep up on sports science research.  A recent study linked muscle cramps to the nervous system rather than the muscular system, and fascinatingly found that spicy foods may be the key to preventing muscle cramps.  Bring on the Sriracha sauce!

Latest Nugget of Knowledge: This isn’t a new concept, but it’s essential to find what balances you and do a little bit of it every day. Whether it’s a quiet run in the morning before work or ten minutes of meditation every night before bed, taking that time for yourself every day will make you better for everyone else.

Resources: Pinterest, Instagram, theSkimm, Google, Elle Décor, Daily Greatness and my Calendar app.
Latest Nugget of Knowledge: One of my favorite words of wisdom is "train your mind to see the good in every situation." I know this is easier said than done, but I do believe that we have a choice to view things in a different light. Sometimes it just takes adjusting your mindset and learning how to do so in all situations, even those that might initially seem negative. Imagine if everyone committed to making this small change?

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
I love meeting new people who are in a similar stage in life, both personally and professionally. Lancaster has so many great businesses that it’s a great way to feel involved in every industry. You just never know who you are going to meet at the events and that keeps it fun and engaging!
  • WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT THIS INDUSTRY?
I’m fairly new to the Marketing industry, but I love it because there is so much to learn. I feel like every day presents new & exciting challenges and learning opportunities for me. At Scheffey, we have a wide range of clients from non-profit organizations to flooring/surfacing to pet products, so it’s always something different! I love being a part of a project that can help other businesses be successful.

Latest Nugget of Knowledge: "Trust your Soul" has been a quote on my wall the last few months. As a creative, you always want to give clients great work that speaks to them and their audience. There are always revisions and there are discussions with the client that seem much bigger than the project at hand. The quote reminds me that you have to trust in your abilities and experiences and that disagreement can often foster the best creativity.

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
The most valuable part of involvement with The Chamber is the community connections. When I first started working in Lancaster after college it was through The Chamber and events like the ones YPN puts on that I was able to meet people and plug in to the community.
  • WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO ACHIEVE IN YOUR FIELD?
I want to empower people. Marketing and Communications are those last big concepts that can seem almost unmanageable for nonprofits and small businesses. Because of this, graphic design collateral and digital creative work is often seen as the end-result of a process. While it is, that end result is very much a tool that helps non-profits and small businesses tell their stories. I just build tools, and I want to make sure that people are knowledgeable and confident in using them.
  • WHEN DID YOU KNOW THIS IS WHAT YOU WANTED TO DO IN LIFE?
In fifth grade we had a class project to make a 6-page newspaper about a day in ancient Rome. I loved creating the images and laying out all the content. While I didn't know the term graphic designer then, I knew that if I could do projects like that all the time, I would be a very happy person.
  • HOW ARE YOU MOTIVATED IN YOUR LIFE'S WORK?
I love what I do; I'm passionate about the designs and collateral I create and the relationships those designs help me foster. It's easy to be not just motivated, but driven every second of everyday. I'm not happy if I'm not thinking out of the box or about the next design for a client.

Title: Owner
Company: Sophie Stargazer Boutique, LLC
Job Responsibilities: Everything! I am the sole owner and do everything from buying, merchandising, accounting, marketing to working with my amazing customers every day!
Resource: AwesomeNote calendar app is my favorite! The calendar looks like the old Outlook system with color coded bars for events, and a to-do checklist that I use every day. I wouldn't know what I'm doing from one hour to the next without it.

I also follow a lot of fashion blogs, and Bloglovin' is the best website! I can chose all of my favorite blogs and follow them all on one site rather than having to bookmark hundreds of blogs. It saves me so much time, helps me find the right content for my own blog at SophieStargazer.com, as well as reaches new audiences who find my blog through their site.

Latest Nugget of Knowledge: In my business, Facebook has proven to be positive for existing customer retention. However, I get the best exposure for potential new customers (particularly younger audiences) with Instagram. I focus my marketing/posts in each format differently with this in mind, and it has made a big positive difference on each social media platform and in the way my customers interact with my shop and each other. I also post far more behind-the-scenes and cat pictures on Instagram than on facebook! (@SophieStargazer)

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
Networking and meeting other small business owners and incredibly positive people! As a McCaskey grad, I had not anticipated moving back to Lancaster to begin my business, but three years ago felt it was the right time and place for the type of boutique I dreamed of having. The sense of community that The Lancaster Chamber and YPN provide has been so encouraging. Living your dream can be overwhelming at times, but finding similarly minded people that believe in making a difference and working hard creates a support system that has been invaluable. The men and women I've met through The Chamber have been just a wonderful, positive influence and source of encouragement to me and my small business – thank you!
  • WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO ACHIEVE IN YOUR FIELD?
On the simplest level, I hope to make my customers comfortable, confident and happy – whether they're purchasing a new wardrobe for the entire season, or just stopping in to browse when they are in the neighborhood. I love helping people understand what works on their bodies, and being able to do personal styling to make their life easier. I am excited and overjoyed on a daily basis by my amazing clientele! In my community and downtown Lancaster, I hope to add to the economic growth and contribute to a safe and positive neighborhood, while raising awareness of some of the other fantastic businesses and non-profits by continuing spotlight and collaborative events. On a larger level, I hope to raise awareness of the production of fashion and it's impacts on the environment and people of the world, to teach people to think about their purchases in a new light of kindness and consideration, mindful that their purchases matter, not just to the small business owner, but to the person sewing every individual garment.
  • WHEN DID YOU KNOW THIS IS WHAT YOU WANTED TO DO IN LIFE?
I began designing clothing and costumes at a very young age, without knowing that's what I was doing. I drew my first store floorplan in 3rd grade with two of my best friends. Over the course of grade school I considered several other careers (typically centered around helping others, fashion or performance), but ultimately came back to my childhood dream. Throughout college, I became focused on the type of boutique I wanted – not just a store with pretty clothes, but one that focused on local and emerging artists, and on eco-friendly materials. After graduating, I had success as a costume designer and wardrobe stylist in theater & film for 10 years before starting my boutique. Since opening two years ago, I have become connected with the Look Good, Do Good mission, and now carry mostly USA made and ethically made brands. Knowing what you want to do in live is an evolution, and for me, always evolving and growing.
  • HOW ARE YOU MOTIVATED IN YOUR LIFE'S WORK?
I've always been passionate about fashion and helping others – combining the two came naturally to me. Every happy customer, every woman that feels better about herself when she walks out of the door keeps me going. Knowing that I can make a positive difference in someone's day and in my community is all I can ask for.

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
The 'Women in Business Negotiating Series' was a supportive environment to meet other like-minded business women, looking to excel in their careers.
  • IN WHAT WAY IS THIS CAREER CHOICE SPECIAL TO YOU?
I have always enjoyed art and math. With my current position, my daily tasks include both design specification and crunching lots and lots of numbers. I love it! A lot goes into the specification of commercial interiors. Ensuring you are meeting building codes, client satisfaction and staying within budget restraints. It takes a detailed eye to prepare projects (of any size) without any errors. Knowing your product, specifying the correct pieces and calculating correct costs are equally important in designing an office, restaurant, school; even more so in LEED projects or healthcare environments.
  • WHEN DID YOU KNOW THIS IS WHAT YOU WANTED TO DO IN LIFE?
I knew at a young age (10) that I wanted to work in the design/build industry. As my talents developed I dove into research and contemplated several career avenues, including architecture, civil engineering and urban planning. I ended up selecting Interior (Architectural) Design. Knowing nearly 95% of an American's average day is spent indoors, what better way to positively affect the day to day lives of others, than by the environment they are within!?
  • HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR TIME OFF?
Besides spending quality time with my family, friends and dog; I enjoy staying actively involved in the community. You will find me at networking events such as the Lancaster Chamber CONNECT or West Shore Young Professional's (WSYP) professional development series. This past year, I sat on the inaugural board of the WSYP. Partaking in the development of this professionally oriented non-profit has been very rewarding. I've made many new contacts from all sorts of industries.

Resource: I love reading industry publications like the NATS journal. I also enjoy reading Success magazine.
Latest Nugget of Knowledge: This isn't my latest, but it's one of my most valuable – "Fail Forward". In a culture where we award just showing up, people have forgotten that we learn more through failure then we do success. Learn from your failures, correct your mistakes and grow from them.

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
Nothing has been more valuable than the networking experiences. As a young entrepreneur, getting to pick the brains of seasoned professionals has helped me to grow as a business owner. I've also enjoyed creating connections with great companies in the area who I can reach out to for other professional needs.
  • WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR INDUSTRY?
I love the opportunities and the people. With every show I'm involved with, either as a director, producer or performer, I get to work with and meet a new group of talented people, and theatre people definitely tend to be a very fun and energized group! Every show also provides the opportunity to create new characters and tell a new story. If I get to do a show or teach out of the area, this industry also provides a lot of great opportunities to travel.
  • WHEN DID YOU KNOW THIS IS WHAT YOU WANTED TO DO IN LIFE?
I grew up doing shows and singing in choirs throughout school. When I got to college, I knew that I could continue to sing, perform and study music even more seriously as I double majored. I honestly didn't start to figure out what I was going to do after college until my junior or senior year. When I graduated, I started teaching voice privately and auditioning for shows. The company has grown up around that decision.
  • HOW ARE YOU MOTIVATED IN YOUR LIFE'S WORK?
My main motivator is my students. I really want to see them grow and succeed both as performers and individuals. This motivates me grow the company in order to provide more opportunities for them in every way possible. I'm also motivated by my desire to continue to help grow the arts in Lancaster. We have such a vibrant community here and the more that PPAS can be a strong component of that community, the more we can enhance what's going on in Lancaster.
  • HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR TIME OFF?
I enjoy going to see shows that students and colleagues are in. I play roller hockey in an adult league and volunteer as much as possible at the Lancaster SPCA. I enjoy hanging out with friends (especially on wing night at DipCo.)

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
The Lancaster Chamber offers a wide range of programs geared towards helping young professionals sharpen their skills. From time management to public speaking and proper networking tactics, I have found value in being a Lancaster Chamber member and greatly enjoy the professional development courses as well as the mixers.
  • WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT THIS INDUSTRY?
That every day is different. Quantum Dynamix is a digital marketing firm and one of your areas of expertise is in website design and development. When we being a new project, we get to immerse ourselves in that client's industry. Learning about their company's culture, their passions for their trade, and their competition is all part of creating a valuable website and ultimately helping our clients increase their brand awareness, and revenue.
  • WHEN DID YOU KNOW THIS IS WHAT YOU WANTED TO DO IN LIFE?
I have always been fascinated by consumer behaviors. Why do some people prefer Crest over Colgate? Armed with this curiosity, I earned a BA in Marketing from the Art Institute of Philadelphia and embarked on my first big kid job at a traditional advertising firm in Center City immediately following graduation.

I quickly learned that mega-size ad firms were not for me. I didn't enjoy having my ideas claimed by others and being at the bottom of what seemed to be a skyscraping totem pole. I can back to Lancaster following this career disappointment and discovered that the city had changed, a lot. There were new businesses, shops and restaurants downtown, some owned by previous classmates. The energy of Lancaster was catching and I was glad to be home.

I took a job working for a non-profit and during my time there I advanced to second in command, managing the website and social media platforms, planning annual giving initiatives and facilitating programs for children and adults with disabilities. I loved this job. It was people focused and allowed me to build my understanding of how to manage growth, conflict and success.

After several years I realized that I had advanced as far as I would at the non-profit and after much deliberation, decided my talents would be better served in other avenues. Now at Quantum Dynamix, I am able to apply the lessons I have learned this far in my careers to advance the notoriety of our clients.
  • HOW ARE YOU MOTIVATED IN YOUR LIFE'S WORK?
Motivation is key to success. I am an advocate for checklist, production schedule and planning calendars. I like to see everything laid out in front of me so I know what's coming next. Having accountability for my work and being goal oriented forces me to focus on the project at hand and motivates me to reach those milestones.
  • HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR TIME OFF?
I love to explore and travel! I met my husband rock climbing and we have kept the momentum going by traveling to some of the world's most astonishing places. Getting engaged in Barcelona, honeymooning in Machu Picchu and gallivanting through the beautiful cities of Prague, Berlin and Stockholm. This April we explored the caves and geothermal pools of Iceland. It was a breathtaking trip.

Exploring the world is an essential part of my life. People always say it is too expensive to travel, I say, make coffee at home and toss that extra $2.50 you saved each day from not getting a Grande super sugary whatever into a jar. You'll be sunning yourself in Belize before you know it!

    When in doubt, travel!

Title: PR/Social Media Specialist
Company: Auntie Anne's, Inc.
Job Responsibilities: As the PR/Social Media Specialist at Auntie Anne's, my role is to provide communications strategy and public relations and social media solutions for a variety of initiatives. I oversee Auntie Anne's charitable partnership with Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation and execute annual fundraising campaigns in stores across the country. I also assist in the management of our corporate communications crisis plan and serve as a member of the Crisis Response Team.
Resource:

  • Twitter is definitely a must-have for any public relations and social media professional! It keeps me updated on news and trends, while allowing for brief yet instantaneous communication with both consumers and the media.
  • Personally, I'm a huge fan of the Skimm. It's a short, daily newsletter that discusses current events and news in a satirical manner.

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
Relationships, both personally and professionally, have been the most valuable part of getting involved with The Chamber. I've made some great business connections, in addition to new friends, through networking at various events.

The best part about working in public relations is that no day is the same! My role allows me to interact with different people in different capacities every day.
  • IN WHAT WAYS IS THIS CAREER CHOICE SPECIAL TO YOU?

I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends, shopping and exploring new microbreweries.

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?

  • WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT THIS INDUSTRY?
At Central Penn College's Lancaster Center our population is typically the continuing education student who may be juggling a full time job, a family and school part time. I was in those shoes when I got my Bachelor's Degree back in 2009 and my MBA in 2012. I love being able to relate to the students I serve and watching them walk across the stage - there is nothing like it!
  • WHAT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU WOULD LIKE PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?
I enjoy people and the opportunity to get to know others. If you see me out at an event please say hi! Also, my family is extremely important to me and without them I would not be where I am today.

I have been in the Higher Education field for seven years this year in various roles such as Financial Aid & Career Services. Even though I don't tend to be a very design-oriented person, I do appreciate great home design when I see it. By working at INTER!ORS, my daily responsibilities allow me to do what I love (numbers and technology) in what I would consider the center of great home design.
  • WHAT HAVE YOU ACCOMPLISHED AND WHAT WOULD YOU STILL LIKE TO MASTER IN THE FUTURE?
Along with learning the responsibilities of being a company controller, I've been involved in several great company projects that have been either for expansion or to improve our technology. Title: General Manager/Vision Builder
Company: Upohar
Job Responsibilities: Anything from day-to-day restaurant operations, catering logistics, marketing and promotions, special events, creating new community programming, building our brand as a social enterprise
Favorite organization to follow: The Business Alliance for Local Living Economies (BALLE)

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
The connections I have made through The Lancaster Chamber of Commerce have been invaluable to me in my professional growth. I have generated new clients for the business I work for, made great friends, and have created a network for myself in which I feel comfortable seeking advice and proposing new ideas and musings that I have as a young entrepreneur and manager.
  • WHEN DID YOU KNOW THIS IS WHAT YOU WANTED TO DO IN LIFE?
I don't think I will ever be at a point where I can say that this is exactly what I want to do for the rest of my life no matter what I do. Our community is full of so many opportunities and it is everchanging. I am excited to grow and flex to optimize new opportunities in our local economy and beyond as Lancaster continues to make a name for itself as a place of innovation, community engagement, and culture. I do know that I want to continue to work within a close knit business community in order to collaborate to solve the social issues of our city, county, and…who knows, the world...the sky's the limit.
  • WHAT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU WOULD LIKE PEOPLE TO KNOW UPOHAR?
Upohar aims to change the way our nation thinks about business. On the surface we are an interesting ethnic foods restaurant specializing in vegan and gluten free cuisines-that in itself is pretty cool. But, on a deeper level, our goal is to prove that paying all employees a living wage is a sustainble business practice that enables all members of our community to thrive and leads to a more prosperous city overall. We are on our way to proving that this model is possible and are eager for other businesses to move in this direction as well. Paying a living wage is only considered a challenge because our society deems it as such; at Upohar we are grappling to change this and would love to help any one to else do the same.
  • HOW ARE YOU MOTIVATED IN YOUR LIFE'S WORK?
I am motivated by the fact that I have been given so much opportunity as a young person. I would like to pay it forward to insure that everyone may access the same opportunities that I have so that they too can pursue their unique dreams and aspirations. That is why I am so passionate about social enterprise.
  • HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR TIME OFF?
I love being active! Running, playing soccer, yoga, hiking are all my favorites. I also am a frequent patron of all the downtown bars and concert venues. You can usually find me somewhere on the dance floor!

Title: Group & Corporate Sales
Company: Cork Factory Hotel
Job Responsibilities: Cultivating new and maintaining existing group and corporate clientele for Cork Factory Hotel, contracting and coordinating multi-day convention sales and hotel room revenues, and representing the hotel with various hospitality and travel networking groups and tradeshow events.

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
As I hope any salesperson would admit, relationships are THE most important factor in any connection one hopes to make, business or just in general life. Chamber events open the opportunity to not only meet, but personally connect with, many key contacts that I wouldn't have a clue how to reach otherwise.
  • WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT THIS INDUSTRY?
In my position, I get to do something completely different every day, and I really love the diversity. Some days I'll be on a tradeshow floor talking to thousands of people in just a few hours, while others I'm huddled over my laptop planning menus and developing a timeline for a red-carpet style corporate event for 200+ attendees, others I'm at the front desk coordinating a group arrival. I get to utilize both the creative and the structured sides of my personality on a daily basis. When I help someone execute their vision of a successful meeting, retreat, banquet, tour, vacation, WHATEVER....., I get to feel as though I'm a part of that memory. Plus, there's plenty of personal perks to be had...if you know where to look!
  • DO YOU HAVE A PARTICULAR NICHE IN THE INDUSTRY?
Multi-day Meetings & Conventions, Motorcoach Tour Groups, and Corporate Travel
  • WHAT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU WOULD LIKE PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?
I'm a firm believer in servant leadership and working together. As a part of team, it's imperative that you yourself are willing to do whatever you would ask another on your team to do. Sometimes, whether a sales manager or a housekeeper or an accountant, we all have to get out of our comfort zone and go beyond our “job titles” to solve a problem. These values run through everyone at the Cork Factory, and I'm lucky to be a part of such an awesome team.
  • HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR TIME OFF?
I love to play guitar and sing at the top of my lungs in the car. When I'm not working, my husband, Allen, and I see as much live music as possible. Since I'm in the tour and travel industry, we typically make roadtrips out of as many concert destinations as possible, researching the best spots to eat, site-see, and sleep along the way. We're also having the time of our lives raising our greatest life-accomplishment thus far, Aiden Jay, who turns 3 in May!

Title: Development Assistant
Company: Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
Our chapter serves a huge territory, from NY to MD, Altoona to Lancaster. I live in Downtown Lancaster and I love making connections with those who care about Diabetes and healthy living in my local community! We're relatively new with The Chamber and I look forward to meeting everybody!
  • WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR ORGANIZATION?
JDRF provides valuable resources and a community of empowerment for those affected by T1D, funding critical research to find a cure. As a Type One Diabetic myself, I go to work every day with a passion for our mission.
  • WHEN DID YOU KNOW THIS IS WHAT YOU WANTED TO DO?
Going to Diabetes camp as a kid showed me the importance of a social support system in managing one's condition. Most people begin working for nonprofits because they want to help other people, and for me, it's personal. I want to help people who are going through the same daily struggles as me, until there is a cure and I am out of a job!
  • WHAT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU WOULD LIKE PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?
I have Diabetes, but that doesn't mean I can't eat sweets! Sometimes sugar is actually medically necessary for me! I just have to calculate an insulin dose for what I eat.. Insulin is not a cure, neither is diet or exercise! And that's not a pager or iPod I'm carrying.. it's my insulin pump and continuous glucose monitor which help keep me alive!
  • IN WHAT WAYS IS THIS CAREER CHOICE SPECIAL TO YOU?
Working for JDRF is truly a dream job. I get to do what I'm best at, for a cause I am fiercely passionate about.

Title: Business Development Manager
Company: Colony Business Systems
Job Responsibilities: As the Business Development Manager for Colony Business Systems I’m responsible for managing and growing our sales team for the southcentral PA region (Lancaster, York, Lebanon, Harrisburg areas). On top of this role, I also classify myself as a selling sales manager. While enjoying the management responsibilities of my role, I also manage my own customer base and work to build relationships with new ones. In addition, I work to develop personal relationships through different networking events and groups, one on one meetings and other means to grow the network of people who know who Colony is, who I am and what we specialize in. No day is the same for me, which keeps me driven and allows me to really enjoy my job!
Favorite Resources: I have been enjoying a new app recently called Business Insider. It is a broad sweeping app and website that covers everything from Finance, Tech and Business News to Life and Entertainment subjects in an unbiased way. When I have a spare 20-30 minutes I also enjoy watching TED Talks. TED Talks are great because there are so many interesting people and subjects on there that you can always learn something new, continually grow your knowledge base on a variety of topics and also watch some “feel good” topics. I also have had a subscription to Fast Company and GQ for as long as I can remember. Despite information and reading material becoming more and more digital, I still like receiving a real magazine that I can read cover to cover each month.

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
The Chamber offers me another avenue to network with people I may not know otherwise. I enjoy the YPN events because it allows a young professional like me to further grow my network of business people my age. While my schedule doesn’t allow me to attend as many Chamber events as I like, the ones I do attend I find a good value in as I always make two to three new connections.
  • WHEN DID YOU KNOW THIS IS WHAT YOU WANTED TO DO IN LIFE?
I wouldn’t say that "copiers" was my calling in life, but I do love this industry, the customers and the people I work with. From a young age I enjoyed talking to people and learning about their problems and finding solutions. Out of college I started working for a national lawn care company selling services over the phone and residentially door to door. It was a hard job, one that was a great learning experiene and really helped me develop the sales skills I have today. I continue to learn more about sales and personally grow my skills through reading and talking with other sales professionals. I feel like you should always be learning. If you’re not continually learning then you’re not bettering yourself.
  • WHAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU WOULD LIKE PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?
I love to network! I made Lancaster home after graduating from Elizabethtown College, so I knew networking was the only way to help build a reputation for myself. I truly believe in organic marketing/networking as a means to grow personally and professionally. I thoroughly enjoy being able to help other people out through just being connected to the community. For example, a local business owner was looking to fill a particular role in his organization. I knew of several people looking for work in the Lancaster area and was able to successfully connect the two. I’m always open for a good cup of coffee or lunch to get to know someone better and find ways to help each other out.
  • IN WHAT WAYS IS THIS CAREER CHOICE SPECIAL TO YOU?
I’ve seen and learned a lot! In our industry it’s not just offices where our equipment goes. I’ve literally been behind the scenes at some local chocolate plants, manufacturing facilities and cutting edge companies prior to opening. No day in my industry is ever the same and that’s what I love!
  • HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR TIME OFF?
I live right off of F&M’s campus and Buchanan Park so my fiancé and I like to spend time at the dog park, walking throughout the city and also hiking at some local spots. We also like to get out and enjoy the art and food scene that Lancaster offers. In addition, I try to get to the gym a few times a week where I enjoy boxing, running and swimming as a stress reliever. In the spring and summer I play softball with a bunch of Elizabethtown alumni for Babbo’s Italian Grill. If I’m not outside keeping busy, I enjoy hanging out with friends and sharing a beer (or a few).

Lauren Schaefer

Name: Lauren Schaefer
Title: CPA, Senior II Accountant
Company: Trout, Ebersole & Groff, LLP
Job Responsibilities: Review and compilation work, financial statement preparation, tax planning and preparation.
Favorite Resources: Central Penn Business Journal's Morning Roundup and Weekly Update emails

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
I've been able to attend events and hear speakers I never thought I would at my age. From The Chamber Dinner to the Leadercast event, there are events large and small that offer opportunities to hear stories and gain advice from wildly successful professionals.
  • WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT THIS INDUSTRY?
What I love most about this industry, especially in Lancaster County, is the opportunity to work with all generations of small business owners to help them succeed both professionally and personally. What is great about Trout, Ebersole & Groff, is I can begin working with a business owner on the business side of an account at the beginning of the week and by the end of the week be working with the same business owner on their personal side, assisting them with personal tax planning and preparation.
  • DO YOU HAVE A PARTICULAR NICHE IN THE INDUSTRY?
I work mainly with partnerships and corporations to perform their review or compilation work, along with multi-state tax planning and preparation needs.
  • WHEN DID YOU KNOW THIS IS WHAT YOU WANTED TO DO IN LIFE?
Subconsciously, apparently freshman year of high school when I decided to be class treasurer, which I continued for all four years. But I guess freshman year in college when an academic advisor encouraged me to change my major from business administration to something more specialized. I decided to choose between finance and accounting and after my first finance class – I decided it was accounting.
  • NAME SOMETHING THAT OTHERS SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOU
I'm not just a bean counter. So often when I tell people I'm a CPA, I can see the look immediately cross their face, even if they don't say it – "oh, so you're a boring number cruncher". One of the things I love most about being an accountant is being out at events, meeting new or established business owners, answering their questions and finding ways to help them be successful in their own careers.

Chris Yoder

Name: Chris Yoder
Title: Financial Advisor
Company: Ameriprise Financial
Job Responsibilities: Financial planning, investment research and portfolio construction.
Favorite Resources:
One of my favorite books is a 200 year old gem, "Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds". This book discusses points in history when entire nations were swept up into ideas that in retrospect seemed ludicrous and serves as an invaluable resource for insight into finances and human behavior.

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
I'm not a native of Lancaster County so it's a great way for me to meet new people and make new connections. I love the way The Chamber fosters a community-based mindset among its members and helps to facilitate the advancement of the local business area.
  • IN WHAT WAYS IS THIS CAREER CHOICE SPECIAL TO YOU?
I'm in the financial planning field because of the way other people's poor financial decisions affected me personally as a child and young adult. At some point in my mid-teen years it seemed to click – I knew there had to be a better way, that money shouldn't drive as much of people's lives and decisions as it often does. My experiences when I was young gave me the foundation and balance I needed and ultimately led me to choose financial planning as a career.
  • WHAT HAVE YOU ACCOMPLISHED AND WHAT WOULD YOU STILL LIKE TO MASTER IN THE FUTURE?
I've worked with a variety of individuals over the past six years to manage their investments through turbulent markets. This has been a very rewarding part of my job because it impacts my clients in such a direct way. I'm currently studying for an Investment Management Analyst certification from Wharton and IMCA. This has been a long-time goal of mine and I hope to complete that process this fall.

On a multi-year basis I would like to begin working with more low-income individuals that need financial education. There is an immense need for education in this sector of our economy.
  • HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR TIME OFF?
I'm passionate about relationships and really enjoy spending time with my wife and each of our extended families. In addition, I enjoy biking, nutrition and gardening. I find growing things to be very relaxing and most summer evenings I can be found in my backyard tending to my garden or rare fruit trees.

Title: Marketing Director
Company: North Star Initiative
Job Responsibilities: As the marketing director I am responsible for the development, planning and implementation of marketing strategies, marketing communications and public relations - both internal and external - in order to align with the organization's branding standards.
Favorite Resources:

I love learning and love reading good ol' hard copy books. I am typically always reading five or so books at the same time on leadership, time management, productivity, marketing and other various subject matters. However, my favorite and most trusted resource is the Bible which has proven principles to live by.

Marketo guides- I enjoy reading the latest Marketo guide to aid in working smarter, not harder.

Social media- I find inspiration and enjoyment in keeping up with current trends on various social media platforms, but my favorite is Pinterest.

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
The Lancaster Chamber of Commerce has opened wonderful doors for us as a non-profit. It has not only provided professional development opportunities but has also aided in connecting us with other professionals in our community to help further our mission. I have enjoyed meeting new faces and networking within our community.
  • IN WHAT WAYS IS THIS CAREER CHOICE SPECIAL TO YOU?
I love what I do, because I'm doing what I love! Growing up I was under the impression that one had to be a philanthropist or move to another country to make a difference in our world - specifically in regard to social justice issues. I lived in China for a year after graduating from college and encountered numerous human trafficking situations which made an impact on my life forever. From that point on I knew I wanted to be an advocate for those that didn't have a voice. However, I always thought I needed to move back to Southeast Asia in order to work with victims of sex trafficking instead of learning the needs within our community. After moving back from China I realized victims are being exploited through forced prostitution at truck stops, hotels, escort services, Facebook, Backpage.com, etc. here in our back yards. I heard about North Star Initiative, a new, faith-based non-profit whose mission is to restore women's lives by providing housing and aftercare services to survivors with the ultimate goal of integrating them back into our community. I love what I do because I am using my education, experience and passion to make a difference in our community by empowering and restoring women that may not otherwise have a second chance at life.
  • WHAT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU WOULD LIKE PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT NORTH STAR INITIATIVE?
We are building Lancaster County's first restoration home for survivors of domestic sex trafficking and exploitation. What does that mean? As a whole, the United States has very limited resources for survivors of sex trafficking. Currently, there are only nine restoration homes in the US devoted to survivors. Our home, The Harbor, will house 8-10 women and provide them with education, therapy, job skills training, and access to legal and basic medical support, all within the comfort and support of a home. We are building The Harbor here in Lancaster County because we have first-hand experience with local survivors and continue to receive calls for referrals!
  • HOW ARE YOU MOTIVATED IN YOUR LIFE'S WORK?
I am motivated in my work because I am making an impact in other lives beyond my own. I am working to give the women that go through The Harbor an opportunity to find healing from their past, receive job skills training, find a job, and perhaps even mentor other women that have experienced similar trauma.

Nicole Sutton

Title: Group Sales Manager
Company: American Music Theatre
Job Responsibilities: Develop relationships and implement strategies to generate group sales for American Music Theatre's Original Shows. Methods include attending trade shows, conducting sales missions, phone and email communication, promotion creation, and design of direct marketing materials along with Director of Marketing. Constant collaboration with the box office staff and management of group sales coordinator are also key responsibilities.
Favorite Resources:

Book: Emotional Intelligence for Sales Success
Web: Inc. Magazine has great articles in the areas of Leadership, Sales, Work/Life Balance, and much more - quick yet valuable reads!
Mentor: Being in group sales, I am part of the tourism industry in Lancaster County. The network of people I have gained from being involved in the industry has been invaluable, particularly finding a mentor (that I now call a great friend) within the industry.

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
Professional development opportunities that are geared toward my specific demographic. I have particularly enjoyed opportunities to hear advice from seasoned professionals.
  • WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT THIS INDUSTRY?
The tourism industry in Lancaster County is like a huge extended family! When I travel to a trade show, no matter how far, there are always familiar faces and the buyers we meet with tend to say 'wow, there are a lot of you here from Lancaster.' We support each other, cross promote, share ideas, and more - it makes a huge difference in my selling to have this network of people around me.
  • IN WHAT WAYS IS THIS CAREER CHOICE SPECIAL TO YOU?
This career combines my passion (music!) and my professional skills (I came from college recruiting - 'selling'). To be honest, I never knew this type of job existed and kind of landed here on a winding path (I'll save you the story), but I couldn't be happier. Even when I started in the position, I had no idea how involved in tourism the position was - which ended up being an added bonus (I love to travel!).

To be surrounded by music, sell a product I truly enjoy, apply my strong skills (communication/relationship building/customer service), and do it under a supportive management surrounded by fantastic people both within AMT and the Lancaster tourism industry - that's something special and I feel very blessed to have found this opportunity! (Yes, I really am that happy with my job!)
  • HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR TIME OFF?
In short - music, outdoors, and family/friends.

Music - I love music....mostly country music and see as many concerts as my budget and time will allow. I also sing and was recently in a fairly busy country duo playing out 3-6 times per month. (Any guitar players out there looking for a project?!) I dabble on a few instruments and very rarely have the TV on (I have a 13 inch TV with a built in VCR) because I'd much prefer music!

Outdoors - with the exception of the winter, I love to be outside...whether it is something active like hiking, something entertaining like being at a festival, or simply sitting on the porch enjoying the weather, I love it.

Family/Friends - what's life without loved ones to share it with? I love spending time with family and friends as much as possible.

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
It has been a great community to be part of and to network with other professionals. I have made friends and have gotten some great introductions or referrals from my Chamber contacts.
  • WHAT LED YOU TO START YOUR ORGANIZATION?
I am a product of microfinance myself. My single mother got a microloan that she used to start a small business to take care of our needs and our education. I have come from extreme poverty, and I have seen what that small opportunity did for us. I am motivated to provide the same opportunity for tens of thousands of other women like my mother. I am a big believer in anti-poverty solutions that create jobs and sustainability. And microfinance is a proven model.
  • WHAT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU WOULD LIKE PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT HIINGA?
That we are in the business of changing lives, literally. That we provide opportunity to people who do not have the same privillege as we do by virtue of where they were born.
  • NAME SOMETHING THAT OTHERS SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOU
Apart from the fact that I hate snow? I am a documentary photographer and I donate hours of that time to time.

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
As a young professional, one of the most valuable aspects of my involvement with The Lancaster Chamber has been the connections that I have made within the diverse network of people.
  • HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR TIME OFF?
I enjoy spending my free time on ski slopes, a sandy beach or instructing at High Performance Driver Education events at various race tracks.
  • NAME AN IMPORTANT ASPECT OF YOUR SERVICE TO YOUR CLIENTS.
I am often faced with the challenge of assisting clients in organizing the components of very complex building programs, in order to fit certain spatial or budgetary confines. It is important that thorough analysis is done to ensure that the finished product is the most efficient use of space and materials.
  • WHEN DID YOU KNOW THIS IS WHAT YOU WANTED TO DO IN LIFE?
At a very young age I was exposed to building construction while visiting job sites with my father, who is a general contractor. The resulting fascination with watching buildings evolve, along with a passion for art and design, led me to focus on the profession of architecture by the time I had reached high school.

Victoria Hill

Name: Victoria Hill
Title: Social Media & Public Relations Specialist
Company: Scheffey Integrated Marketing
Job Responsibilities: At Schefffey, I lead the social media strategy for our clients working across multiple platforms to keep their voice active and responsive. I also work with the PR Director to develop and share messages that tell the stories of our clients. On any given day I can be found researching, writing, connecting with the media and influencers, and trying to effectively communicate in 140 characters or less.
Favorite Resources:

  • Mashable and The Daily Beast e-newsletters keep me updated on trending topics (and provide lots of interesting conversation starters).
  • Living in Social Media most of my days, I use Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn to connect with the media and influencers and research trends.
  • Face time – the original social network. The benefit of living and working in a close-knit community is the ability to connect with people. YPN events, PA Visitor's Bureau mixers, First Fridays and even Saturday mornings at Central Market are great ways to meet people. I follow The Chamber, Lancaster Newspaper and local magazines like Fig and Susquehanna Style on Twitter to see what's going on.
  • IN WHAT WAYS IS THIS CAREER CHOICE SPECIAL TO YOU?
I've always wanted a career rooted in creativity. I spent my first few semesters in college filling up on art history and creative writing courses until a professor suggested I that I might be well-suited for PR. Now, I spend my days crafting fun events; writing blogs, press releases, newsletters and ad copy and e-meeting interesting people and researching consumer opinion through social media. I don't think many children dream of becoming marketers, but I'd like more young people to know how fun and enriching this job can be. Every industry employs some level of marketing, so professionals really have an opportuntiy to apply their skills to any area that feeds their passion.
  • HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR TIME OFF?
I love living in Downtown Lancaster and discovering new treasures in the city with my fiance, 7-year-old step-daughter and our friends. The community itself is so energetic, creative and diverse but still maintains a small-town feel and it's wonderful to be a part of it. I also enjoy traveling whether it be to the Caribbean or a weekend in NYC and cleaning (seriously, cleaning is my idea of fun!).
  • WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO ACHIEVE IN YOUR FIELD?
At Scheffey I work mostly with tourism clients such as Strasburg Rail Road, Choo Choo Barn and most recently, Hands-On House Children's Museum. I feel a sense of accomplishment knowing the work I do in social media and PR contributes to growing the local tourism industry. I hope to continue to expand in the market and aid other local attractions in growing their communications reach.
  • WHAT DO YOU FEEL IS YOUR STRONG SUIT IN THIS INDUSTRY?
I'm a fact-finder. I search for small details that make a company or a product interesting and relevant and weave that into the messages I share with their audiences. I also use those research skills to understand and connect with the media – what the outlets focus on, what the writers like to cover and individual writing style. I'm a relationship builder by nature and that lends itself very well to the communications field. I am genuinely curious and enthusiastic, which I believe can be contagious – that helps a lot.

Brock Nestlerode

Name: Brock Nestlerode
Title: Lean Engineer
Company: Anvil International
Job Responsibilities: As a lean engineer my job is to create a culture of learning and continuous improvement. To accomplish this I spend most of my time facilitating/leading Kaizen events – Kaizens are cross-functional team events conducted for three to five days focused on resolving problems and implementing solutions. Kaizens are a great tool for achieving improvements in a short period of time utilizing existing assets.
Most Valuable Resources: Shop Floor Employees - one of the eight wastes of lean manufacturing is not utilizing employees. All successful continuous improvement activity utilizes the knowledge of the people who actually perform the work every day. Shop floor employees are process experts and have great ideas on how it can be improved. They also play a key role in sustaining efforts once improvements are made.

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
The Lancaster Chamber has created a unique opportunity for my co-workers and me to get out of the office and network with other young professionals. The most valuable part so far has not only been sharing our experience at Anvil with others, but learning what other young professionals are doing to create success and bringing that insight back to Anvil.
  • IN WHAT WAYS IS THIS CAREER CHOICE SPECIAL TO YOU?
I'm lucky that my job requires that I get up out of my chair and onto the shop floor where I get to talk to employees. Part of my role is to understand the various processes that go into manufacturing pipe fittings at Anvil. By talking with each employee, I get a better understanding of how each one does his or her job. That insight helps me better understand our work processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Working with people at every level of the organization to improve our processes and seeing that positive change occurring, is very rewarding.
  • HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR TIME OFF?
I guess you need to define "time off." Every day when I leave work I go home to my second job of being a dad to two year old twin boys. My wife and I are blessed with smart and energetic children and enjoy spending family time doing anything we can think of to keep them entertained.
  • WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO ACHIEVE IN YOUR FIELD
As a lean engineer, my ultimate goal is to help create a culture where every employee understands his or her role in contributing to the organization's overall success. In this kind of company culture, employees will continuously identify and remove waste helping to ensure the company's success now and into the future.
  • WHAT DO YOU FEEL IS YOUR STRONG SUIT IN THIS INDUSTRY?
I feel that my greatest strength is my ability to build strong working relationships with people at all levels of the organization. These working relationships are critical in gaining the buy-in necessary to implement sustainable improvements in areas of the company.

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
The Chamber provides extensive networking opportunities to build valuable professional relationships and friendships. The Professional Development Fridays provide high quality educational information on a wide range of topics that have helped me further grow in my current role and career. The monthly Chamber Mixers provide an opportunity to network with hundreds of other professionals who are interested in connecting and growing their professional networks, as well. The Mixers are also a dynamic way to learn more about our local community by providing the opportunity to visit a different local business each month and learn about their organization and industry.
  • IN WHAT WAYS IS THIS CAREER CHOICE SPECIAL TO YOU?
As a connector and relationship builder, I have always had the ability to help people see possibilities beyond their current thinking. I have a passion for networking, meeting new people, and learning about them both professionally and personally. I also have a passion for growing successful teams that are focused on achieving excellence. My current career helps me to fulfill these passions through both my business development role and my client coaching role.
  • HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR TIME OFF?
I am very blessed with an amazing wife, Melissa, and a fantastic one year old son, Brooks. We are very intentional about getting great, quality family time together. Melissa and I are avid Parrotheads and have made it an annual tradition to travel to a Jimmy Buffett concert on our wedding anniversary. Our destination is dependent on where Jimmy is performing and we love the surprise when the tour information is released. We are also die-hard Baltimore Orioles fans, so supporting our beloved O’s gets us out to the ballpark often. We absolutely love the beach, particularly the Caribbean. However, since we can’t be perpetual "beach bums," we enjoy taking mini "vacations" to local coffee shops to relax and chat over a latte. I have also enjoyed playing softball for many years. It provided a great outlet for me to help satisfy my competitive drive, get some excellent exercise and build relationships with a diverse group of guys.
  • NAME SOMETHING THAT OTHERS SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOU
I am a firm believer that if Lancaster City is healthy and vibrant, the other surrounding communities in Lancaster County will benefit and be stronger, as well. There are so many wonderful reasons to visit the City. First Fridays, Central Market, diverse dining options, art galleries and theater shows are just a few of the many reasons to go downtown. Safety is an absolute must to create a fantastic downtown experience for everyone. In order to personally help with this cause, I am a volunteer Board Member, Resource Development Committee member and Marketing Committee member for the Lancaster Community Safety Coalition (www.lancastercsc.org). The LCSC is a non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance Lancaster’s community safety. This is accomplished through video safety, safety by design and community mobilization. Please feel free to contact me if you’re interested in learning more or to get involved.

  • DID YOU THINK THIS IS WHAT YOU WOULD DO WHEN YOU WERE YOUNGER?
If you would have asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up I would have told you an artist. I love the growth and art movement Lancaster has and continues to experience. So while I may not be a professional artist, I am certainly living vicariously through the creative community we have.
  • WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO ACHIEVE IN YOUR FIELD
As part of the ELT structure of the LCA, I am hopeful I can keep our volunteers engaged while utilizing their talents and resources to make a difference.
  • WHAT HAVE YOU ACCOMPLISHED AND WHAT WOULD YOU STILL LIKE TO MASTER IN THE FUTURE?
Balance. It something I try to focus on everyday with the goal of being the best Colleen I can be, whatever hat it is that I am wearing. There is a quote by Ellen DeGeneres that I enjoy: "My point is, life is about balance. The good and the bad. The highs and the lows. The pina and the colada."

Michael L Stern

Name: Michael L Stern
Title: Vice President Private Banking
Company: National Penn Bank
Job Responsibilities: Private Banking is designed to provide customized solutions that specifically address the short and long term goals, fears and concerns of higher net worth clients, closely held business owners and executives. Customers enjoy a one-on-one relationship with a dedicated Private Banker.

As a Relationship Manager, I take the time to understand those items of concern and create a specific plan that will create the desired end result. I provide insight into National Penn's financial products and services that are used in each plan. I will also utilize appropriate business partner resources and members of my professional network as needed.

Trust is a two-way street that is built over time and I take that task and commitment very seriously. My vision is to create "professional friendships" with all of my clients.

Favorite Resources: The Library System of Lancaster County has a terrific online resource center that I use frequently to better understand certain industry challenges as well as researching archived articles of interest for myself and my clients. From a prospecting standpoint, information is available to help uncover decision makers in certain industries as well.

I also have a passion for leadership and find myself continuing to view books written by Ken Blanchard and Patrick Lencioni.

I also spend more time on LinkedIn then I care to admit.

Finally, and most importantly, I have a mentor that provides guidance, help and coaching when needed. I also have maintained a valuable friendship with a former manager and tremendous leader. In times of need or frustration, her words come to mind frequently.

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
The Chamber provides an avenue to network with people that are in a similar stage of life as me. We share the same challenges with young kids, building careers and working towards a better community. Networking is the first step towards building and growing a successful business, whether you work for yourself or for someone else.
  • IN WHAT WAYS IS THIS CAREER CHOICE SPECIAL TO YOU?
I am driven and motivated by one simple thing. I like to help people. Sometimes that help is through financial services provided through the bank and other times it is an introduction to someone in my professional network. Other times I am able to provide insight from my past leadership and sales experience. Ultimately, my job and my goal are to grow the Private Banking customer base in the Lancaster market for National Penn. The ability to provide an impact to my customer and my company drives me each day.
  • WHAT DO YOU FEEL IS YOUR STRONG SUIT IN THIS INDUSTRY?
I enjoy helping people. I take a great deal of pride and enjoyment when I can provide the tools needed to help someone achieve a financial goal. If I continue to focus on doing the right things for the right reasons, everyone will be successful.
  • HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR TIME OFF?
I enjoy spending time with wife Michele, and daughter, Madelyn. I am a big baseball fan and enjoy Barnstormers games and Phillies games. I also spend time on the golf course working to improve my game.

Joseph G. Gebbie

Name: Joseph G. Gebbie, M.S.Ed., M.P.S
Title: Director of Employer Partnerships, Office of Student & Post-Graduate Development
Company: Franklin & Marshall College
Job Responsibilities: I am primarily responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with employers, locally, regionally and nationally based, for the purposes of securing employment, internship, externship and other experiential learning opportunities for F&M students and post-graduates. I also am responsible for designing and maintaining sustainable and effective recruiting systems for those opportunities, as well as developing and delivering programs, events and resources pertaining to employment trends, industry standards and hiring practices.
Favorite Resources: Two very vital resources for developing and enhancing career development are:

  • Career Services Offices – Keep in touch with the career services office at your college or in the local communities. Most institutions are open to coaching not only students but also alumni with career development and transition.
  • LinkedIn – Social media is the topic of conversation and at the top is LinkedIn. Whether your looking to expand your network, broaden your sales base or market your company, LinkedIn is a must to have.
  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
Networking, networking, networking. Through the connections and relationships that are built by being an active participant in the Chamber, you can not only increase your customer base but develop great friends too. Networking at Chamber events has put me in touch with so many amazing people who have been instumental in developing internships and jobs for the students/alumni at Franklin & Marshall College. Additionally, it has expanded my circle of friends and colleagues, developed my professional knowledge base, and even lead me to finding someone special in my personal life!
  • IN WHAT WAYS IS THIS CAREER CHOICE SPECIAL TO YOU?
Life is a journey, and I have explored various pathways in life. My current career choice is very special to me because I can assist students in developing their own pathway. During my high school and college life I was confused as to what I really wanted to accomplish. Looking back, I reflect on the fact that of utilizing resources and finding mentors would have had a profoundly positive impact on my life. Now, I am one of those people that can help tos guide students while they explore post-graduate choices long before they make the jump into adulthood, whenever that may be.
  • DID YOU THINK THIS IS WHAT YOU WOULD DO WHEN YOU WERE YOUNGER?
Students come into my office and at first glace, usually, looked perplexed. Mr. Gebbie, they ask, what's up with all of the different diplomas? My answer: "A long journey that led me to meeting with you." When I was younger I thought I was going to be a lawyer. In fact, I spent a short time in law school and discovered that it wasn't the right fit for me. After receiving degrees in Criminal Justice, Counseling and a couple others, I landed in career services, some say by fate. Very few people say, "I want to work in higher education, or career servces." It was through networking with friends and industry professionals that I moved my way into higher education.
  • WHAT HAVE YOU ACCOMPLISHED AND WHAT WOULD YOU STILL LIKE TO MASTER IN THE FUTURE?
Everyday is an accomplishment for me. All of the studnets and alumni I help connect with an internship or job opportunity are my accomplishments. Everytime I supplement my professional knowledge and utilize my skills to guide students toward a more meaningful post-graduate life, I have made my mark on society. In the future, I would love to study for a doctorate in higher edcuation to advance in my career and make an even bigger impact on my students and profession.

Kate Zimmerman

Name: Kate Zimmerman
Title: Program Director
Company: Leadership Lancaster
Job Responsibilities: I work for a nonprofit--we do it all!
I coordinate programming for our four programs - Core, Executive Orientation Series, Board Leadership Academy, and Leadership Advantage. I also help create partnerships between individuals and nonprofits, consult with nonprofits occasionally, and plan events that allow our alumni to network with each other.

Favorite Resources: The people around me. My role at Leadership Lancaster allows me to connect with good, smart, and motivated people who care about each other and our community and are making a difference.

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
I moved to Lancaster 10 years ago and didn't know where to start, where to plug in. I was fortunate enough to be able to go through the Leadership Lancaster Core Program (Leadership Lancaster is a program of the Chamber Foundation) and that experience opened my eyes to the wonder of this community! Between Leadership Lancaster and Chamber networking events, I have built not only an amazing professional community but also a personal community that never ceases to amaze me.
  • WHAT MOTIVATES YOU IN YOUR CAREER?
Having impact and leaving the world a better place motivates me in my career. My parents taught us from a very early age the responsibility of giving back, of helping others. I've been fortunate to have spent my career carrying out this edict in different sectors from a Washington DC lobbying firm where I advocated for clients who were helping others, to Habitat for Humanity where I was actually able to look into the eyes of families whose lives we were changing, and now to Leadership Lancaster where we partner with community benefit organizations across the county. The scope of need in our world can be overwhelming at times, but I can sleep at night knowing I've connected one fantastic volunteer with a hardworking nonprofit Board of Directors and together they can help more people. It's a fantastic ripple effect!
  • HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR TIME OFF?
Time off is spent with the two most important people in my life - my kids. I'm constantly working at that elusive work/life balance. I aspire to be a runner more than I am actually able to get out and put sneakers to the road, although that is changing now that the kids are older and can come along on runs with me. Once the kids are safely tucked in bed, I'm a reader. My New Year's resolution was to read one book a week, and I'm not there yet, but I love reading books and sharing books and talking books!
  • WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO ACHIEVE IN YOUR FIELD?
I hope to work myself out of a job eventually. The ultimate achievement in my field would be for our community to be so connected to each other on an individual level, on an organizational level, nonprofits and for-profit businesses, within sectors and across sectors, that you wouldn't need us anymore.

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
In being a Chamber member, I was surprised to see the amount of camaraderie that the members have for each other and their community. Lancaster is such a vibrant and growing city (and county) and I am ecstatic to see it all happen in front of me!
  • DOES YOUR BUSINESS HAVE A PARTICULAR NICHE IN THE INDUSTRY?
Yes we do. We are an infrastructure consulting company that focuses particularly on the server and backup solution and everything that solution rides on including end user systems, firewalls and switching. If it is not our expertise, we engage our strategic partnerships to help implement the appropriate solution. One of things I like about 2K is that we will say we are not a “jack of all trades” IT solutions company BUT we will vendor manage EVERY aspect of that environment for our clients and engage the appropriate partner for a solution, therefore making us an ALL encompassing IT solution for every client!
  • WHAT HAVE YOU ACCOMPLISHED AND WHAT WOULD YOU STILL LIKE TO MASTER IN THE FUTURE?
My greatest accomplishments career wise are when I can see my clients grow and prosper because of my strategic planning. If they are achieving their goals, then I am achieving mine. My future goals are to keep providing the newest solutions and to continue to support the growth of 2K and my clients’ organizations.
  • DO YOU HAVE ANY SPECIAL INTERESTS?
I still write my own music with some talented local musicians and play out in the Mid-Atlantic as much as possible. My original band, SQUASH, is enjoying our 20th Anniversary this year! I also enjoy being able to support my local friends who own businesses as well as supporting the local charitable and community service foundations in our city such as Lancaster City Alliance, SABVI and a host of others.

Jocelyn Martin

Title: Director of Business Development
Company: CCS Building Group
Job Responsibilities: Overall business development and marketing for our company. This entails developing leads while cultivating existing relationships and a lot of time thinking about how to best utilize our resources. I attend and speak at many conferences and coordinate our marketing materials.
Favorite Resources: I love to read anything by Jeffrey Gitomer (www.gitomer.com)

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
I feel like this is so cliché, but just the ability to connect. There are so many opportunities for me as a YP to grow professionally as well as personally. Chamber members are more than willing to help make connections and take a genuine interest in learning more about how our services might help others. I recently met someone at a PDF and through a casual conversation; she connected me with someone to help me fulfill a need for my own company. We are a resourceful bunch and while we are looking to advance our own businesses, I love that we all seem to have a genuine interest in helping people first.
  • WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR INDUSTRY?
I love that construction is always changing. There are new best practices on a daily basis. And, while people typically see the end-result, it’s fascinating to watch the entire process from land development through completed structure. It takes a great wealth of talent to build something well; it’s amazing, to me, how much each discipline relies on other.

In addition to this, we have the ability to make such an impact on the lives we are building for. We recently finished a historical renovation project in the old Sullivan Home. Those familiar with it will be well aware that this home has been used to the fullest extent possible over the years. The new owner’s vision was to restore it back to the original grandeur of the Sullivan Home while adding some contemporary amenities. It was an amazing project to complete-the woodwork alone is just beautiful.
  • DID YOU THINK THIS IS WHAT YOU WOULD DO WHEN YOU WERE YOUNGER?
Oh funny. Not even close. I was planning to be a Police Officer or a Nurse. I guess in some aspects my role does fulfill my desire to help people, I just never thought it would have anything to do with construction.
  • HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR TIME OFF?
Great question. How do I wish I would spend my time off might be a better question. I have two young children, so anytime I can take them to explore a new place is just as exciting for me. But my "me" time includes running, reading and catching up with girlfriends over a great meal. I also love going to the beach-during any season. There is just something refreshing about sitting on the beach listening to the sound of the waves. I seriously could sit on the beach from sunrise to sunset and beyond.

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
Becoming a Lancaster Chamber Ambassador has been the most valuable part of getting involved with the Chamber because I have met and networked with so many wonderful people that I otherwise, never would have met. Becoming an Ambassador has helped me to learn more about what the Chamber does for the Lancaster Community, and has allowed me to share that knowledge with under-involved companies within the Chamber. It's a great feeling introducing Chamber members to each other knowing that business will result from my introduction, and that's why the Chamber is such a powerful resource.
  • IN WHAT WAYS IS THIS CAREER CHOICE SPECIAL TO YOU?
I am a 3rd generation Bailey in Travel Time/Bailey Travel so it meant a lot to finally join the family business in 2012. My father is my greatest role model and I aspire to be as successful as him in years to come. I find that when you are a part of a family business you have more invested and it means that you always must give 110% or you will let not only yourself down, but your family.
  • WHAT MOTIVATES YOU AT WORK?
I think money motivates everyone, so working as hard as I can to prove I deserve a raise is always motivating. ☺ I am a list person…so making lists and being able to cross a certain number of accomplishments off my list each day motivates me. Also, my boss, Shaun Balani. He is constantly challenging me to be the best I can be. So when he throws something my way, I work hard to prove to him that I can do anything!
  • NAME SOMETHING THAT OTHERS SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOU
Something that I think others should know about me is that I'm a strong believer in the phrase "if you work hard, you can play hard." I work my butt off when it comes to my job responsibilities so that when I am off the clock I can live life to the absolute fullest! I'll end with my favorite quote: "For a couple of years, I will live a life that most people won't so that in a couple of years I can live a life that most people can't." –Bob Granger; Ambit Energy.

I also oversee our BIM (Building Information Modeling) functions and the transition of our projects from the preconstruction phase to construction.
Favorite Resources: My colleagues! They are what define us and the culture at Warfel. There is always someone to bounce ideas off of or that can provide valuable insight. I also like to keep a pulse on the industry through Engineering News Record and by attending seminars.

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
I have enjoyed learning more about our community, our leaders, our needs and the resources available. Being able to develop relationships with other young professionals has been rewarding as well. Prior to getting involved with The Chamber, most of my interaction was with other professionals in my industry. I have enjoyed getting the many perspectives of other leaders in our local industries.
  • WHAT MOTIVATES YOU IN YOUR CAREER?
The sense of achievement has been especially rewarding in Construction Management. Being able to drive my family by a local project and tell them I was part of it is pretty cool. We are helping others bring their ideas, designs, and dreams to fruition. Nothing beats the feeling you get from a satisfied client. It's something I strive for every day.
  • WHAT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU WOULD LIKE YOUR CLIENTS TO KNOW?
I believe it's all about relationships, how you treat people, and being fair and conducting business with professionalism and integrity. Through teamwork and collaboration, we have developed and strengthened our many client relationships over the years. We are able to do this because of our outstanding employees and their tireless effort to meet the needs of our clients. At Warfel, we live by our mission of Clients for Life!

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
The Chamber of Commerce has been integral to me in getting to know the various members and businesses in the community. I'm a huge networker - I want to get to know everyone, and I want to be able to introduce everyone to at least one other person who can help them somehow. Whether it's a service they need, or a networking connection that would benefit them, without the Chamber of Commerce, I'd be at a huge disadvantage when it comes to getting to know the community.
  • WHAT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU WOULD LIKE YOUR CLIENTS TO KNOW?
Everyone has a different situation. There is no "one size fits all" when it comes to insurance. In the 21st century buying insurance has become easier and more hands-off than ever. With 10 minutes and a few clicks, you can have competitive quotes and a policy purchased and in-hand from any number of companies. The website, however, is never going to take the time to get to know you or your personal situation, or provide the human touch of an expert recommendation. It is always worth sitting down with an agent to make sure you are not over- or under-insuring yourself.
  • IN WHAT WAYS IS THIS CAREER CHOICE SPECIAL TO YOU?
Insurance isn't something people like to explore, think about, or talk about. For most it's simply fulfillment of a legal requirement. Insurance is special to me because I love talking about it, I love learning about it, and I love sharing my knowledge with my clients and with the community. I think the act of enlightening others on a less exciting subject that directly impacts them is a huge opportunity and helps me love what I do.
  • NAME SOMETHING YOU ARE KNOWN FOR.
I trained in the martial arts for 14 years, and taught for 4 years. I loved breaking down complicated concepts into easy to understand chunks, and my training and teaching in the martial arts really helped honed my skillset there. I love learning new things to not only add to my knowledge base, but to share that knowledge with others. I think being involved in the community is hugely important and I like to spend my time supporting and giving back to the various organizations within Lancaster that I am a member of.

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
It has been a great learning experience connecting with like-minded individuals and enhancing my skills. I have had an opportunity to learn about organizations and nonprofits within the community. The Chamber brought that top-of-mind awareness to me and identified outside resources.
  • WHAT WAYS IS THIS CAREER CHOICE SPECIAL TO YOU?
I appreciate the company I work with and respect our mission to serve our community through publications and events to enhance peoples' lives. I began my career with On-Line Publishers, Inc. as an intern. Courses I took at HACC and Millersville in business, social and digital media have been crucial to my success. I work in a company with people who accept my willingness to continue to hone my skills and appreciate my ideas and contributions.
  • HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR TIME OFF?
I am a huge baseball and hockey fan. I love attending Lancaster Barnstormers games or heading to the Hershey Bears games. I enjoy taking my two nieces, Katie and Avery to educational trips throughout Lancaster County on the weekends. I enjoy attending Expos throughout the county and also love catching up with my best friends and former college classmates.

Danielle Groshong-Keperling

Title: Title: COO
Company: Historic Restorations
Job Responsibilities: Too many to list - mostly oversee the office side of the business, while, coordinating with the production side. As a family owned small business we all wear many hats. My favorite responsibility is marketing – creating unusual campaigns to help people preserve their homes.
Favorite Resources: I am a big reader - my favorite business books are:

  • Use What You've Got & Other Business Lessons I Learned from My Mom – Barbara Corcoran
  • Guerrilla Marketing – Jay Conrad Levinson
  • The Fred Factor – Mark Sanborn
  • Linchpin – Seth Godin

I subscribe to both Seth Godin's and the Duct Tape Marketing blogs – I read Seth Godin's every day. He always has a different way of looking at something that causes me to at least examine the way I thought about it. I was introduced to Seth Godin during an economics class – this introduction has completely changed the way I thought about the economy and my understanding of the revolutionary times we are living in.

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
Historic Restorations joined the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce in October of 2012, so we are relatively new members. The educational programming is what attracted me to join. So far I have attended a few of the Professional Development Friday sessions and the Excellence Exchange – there has not been one event in which I did not learn something. I am looking forward to becoming more involved with the Young Professional Network and making connections I would not have otherwise made – I am often guilty of 'living' in my own little world and this will help get me out of the office.
  • WHAT WAYS IS THIS CAREER CHOICE SPECIAL TO YOU?
It was a winding road that lead me to my career. When I was in high school I decided that I would never work in an office and I went to culinary arts school graduating with degrees in Restaurant Management and Culinary Arts – I worked full-time in the food service industry for about three years before I realized I wanted to do something else. My father (our company's founder) said that he had been waiting for me to get to that point. So I began working in an office – pretty much as a glorified secretary to my mother and worked my way up from there.
Historic Restorations' overall mission is to help historic building owners preserve and/or restore their buildings we do this through education and contracting our services. I believe that we are helping preserve little pieces of history with this work. My favorite quote is, "Like people, houses are created, live, and grow old. Like us they eventually disappear. Houses that survive to be studied, explored, and admired by distant generations should be regarded as emissaries from another time, as gateways into our past." Jack Larkin, Where We Lived: Discovering the Places We Once Called Home
  • HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR TIME OFF?
Usually if I have any time off I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jonathan, (even though we work together we usually do not see each other much throughout the day) and our two dogs, Delilah, a Jack Russell, and Angelica, a Pug. I also enjoying reading – I make a deal with myself one business book for one 'fun' book (usually from the Paranormal Romance genre) – it takes me a lot longer to read the business books.

  • AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL, WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST VALUABLE PART OF GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE LANCASTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
The most valuable part of being involved has been the friendships & relationships that I've built. Despite the recent push for 'lean' and 'systems' in organizations (and they are important!), business & community benefit organizations are still run by people, needing to interact with people. The Chamber offers a lot of opportunities to get out & meet other professionals, helping me grow and develop.
  • WHAT IS YOUR PASSION?
I have a passion for growth and getting better, and helping others do the same. I do my best to be intentional about always being better than I was the day before. I can also talk lacrosse for quite a while!
  • IN WHAT WAYS IS THIS CAREER CHOICE SPECIAL TO YOU?
Being in a leadership development organization, I love what I'm doing, helping businesses and individuals grow in their desired professions. Helping others is truly something that I enjoy doing, and being able to do that and seeing the results in others helps to make this special. I also have the opportunity to work out of my house frequently, which has been a blessing to be around my 2 yr. old daughter quite a bit!
  • WHAT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU WOULD LIKE YOUR CLIENTS TO KNOW?
People matter. When you take care of your people, getting them engaged and involved, you'll get better results when they interact with each other and your clients.
