Training/Networking Programs

The Lancaster Chamber's training and networking programs help business and community leaders foster increased productivity and higher levels of success, all while helping them excel professionally. These programs also provide access to business building opportunities that will help take their business to the next level.

Excellence Exchange

The Chamber's Excellence Exchange offers unparalleled professional development for individuals and teams committed to continuous improvement. This bi-monthly series provides a unique opportunity to gain valuable first-hand knowledge from the region's most dynamic and accomplished business leaders. Following each presentation, participants engage in a roundtable exchange with their peers, expanding their understanding of the concepts.

Get Connected!

The primary goal of this structured and facilitated series is to create and maintain an effective networking environment by building personal and professional relationships with other members while exchanging leads, business tips and referrals. In just one session, attendees will potentially meet between 50 and 60 business professionals. They will also learn how to develop a networking plan to drive their business objectives, utilize simple, fast follow-up techniques that build relationships, and quick tips to establish themselves as an expert in their field.

Issues Briefings

Issue-specific briefings are hosted when a topic arises that requires members' immediate attention and quick dissemination of information.

Marketplace Live

An opportunity for attendees to put "think local" into action. Chamber members can witness firsthand the local products, services and expertise of their fellow Chamber members, as well as gain access to information and resources that will benefit them and their organization. All Marketplace Live programs are held in small, informative group settings.

Mixers are relaxed, casual events. They are exceedingly popular and very well attended - drawing 200+ business professionals on average. Unique to their monthly host, they are never the same twice. Held at the sponsor's business location they often include tours and product demonstrations or displays. Mixers provide networking opportunities that are as informative as they are fun.

Professional Development Friday

Professional Development Fridays are free weekly training sessions for all Chamber members. Presented by local experts, sessions are held on Fridays at Southern Market Center. These sessions serve as an opportunity for you to learn from local business professionals on topics such as leadership, management, marketing, legal issues, customer service, environment and more. These sessions are ideal for anyone looking to enhance their business and career.

The Chamber is currently accepting speaker applications for our training sessions. Any individual interested in presenting must complete a formal speaker proposal, which includes an application, program outline and bio, to Chamber staff for consideration. Our bi-monthly Wake Up to the Issues Forums provides insight into current issues of concern to our business community. These forums also offer access to some of the area's most influential decision-makers. Hear from those shaping public policy on topics ranging from education funding reform to election year politics. Attendees have the opportunity to pose questions during a question-and-answer session following the presentation.
