Tom Baldrige, president & CEO, The Lancaster Chamber of Commerce & Industry

Thomas T. Baldrige is president and CEO of The Lancaster Chamber of Commerce & Industry, a 2,200-member organization dedicated to creating business and community vitality. Mr. Baldrige has held this position since 2000. In 2003 and 2013, The Lancaster Chamber was judged Chamber of the Year by an organization of its peers. He received the designation of Certified Chamber Executive in 2008 from the American Chamber of Commerce Executives.

Previously, Mr. Baldrige was president of The Lancaster Alliance, an organization focused on the revitalization of the City of Lancaster via commitment from the private sector and county-wide volunteers.

Mr. Baldrige has also served as executive vice president and director of government and public affairs at The Lancaster Chamber of Commerce & Industry, assistant director of communications for the Senate of Pennsylvania and scheduling coordinator for Governor Dick Thornburgh.

Mr. Baldrige earned a B.S. from Ithaca College and has completed graduate courses at Elmira College.

Mr. Baldrige is currently Past Chair of the board of directors of the American Chamber of Commerce Executives and serves on the boards of Leadership Lancaster, Economic Development Company of Lancaster County, Discover Lancaster, the Workforce Development Board, the Lancaster County Transportation Authority and the City Reinvestment and Improvement Zone (CRIZ) Authority.

He resides in Lancaster City with his wife Susan, a reporter. The couple has three grown children and three grandchildren.
