High School Mentoring Programs
Help shape and grow the future leaders of our local workforce by providing guidance, sharing wisdom and offering encouragement to a high school junior from a local school through a one-on-one mentoring relationship. Activities include job shadowing and special learning and professional growth opportunities. CareerConnect is an online career exploration database designed for area middle school, high school and post-secondary students to connect with business professionals for job shadowing, mentoring and internship opportunities. CareerConnect is Lancaster County's only local resource for students looking to link up with local businesses for career exploration opportunities.
A career night designed to educate area middle school students, their parents/guardians and school administrators on how to prepare for future career opportunities available in the local marketplace. More specifically, the event is designed to provide the future workforce, your future employees, with the opportunity to meet local employers in a face-to-face setting to learn about career projections, wages, education requirements, internships and training opportunities necessary to succeed in various industries.
