Issue-specific briefings are hosted when a topic arises that requires members’ immediate attention and quick dissemination of information.
Annual Legislative Issues Breakfast
The Chamber’s Annual Legislative Issues Forum features members of Lancaster County’s delegation. They afford members one-on-one time with state legislators during a networking breakfast plus the opportunity to hear a panel discussion of the latest news from the state capitol.
Our bi-monthly Wake Up to the Issues Forums provides insight into current issues of concern to our business community. These forums also offer access to some of the area’s most influential decision-makers. Hear from those shaping public policy on topics ranging from education funding reform to election year politics. Attendees have the opportunity to pose questions during a question-and-answer session following the presentation.
Groups of interested Chamber members travel to Harrisburg and Washington, DC to advocate directly for or against various proposals and provide an opportunity to talk directly with lawmakers.
The Chamber hosts candidate forums to help educate the public on issues impacting business, enables voters to make informed decisions, and allows for a venue in which the public can participate in the election process.
